The bathroom had a great shower and was well equipped with toiletries.
The food tended to be cold and there was a lot of noise late at night from a club next door.
This is a older style, charming hotel with an own athmospere and feeling, Very nice, comfortable
location amazing, hotel nice but sitcom didn't work and the hotel inside was boiling!
waiters and service on the roof was very very rude, they had no patience with us and disliked us automatically because we were from England! bar was also very expensive
Amazing location! Perfect to easily walk to every tourist spot in this side of the river! Free cable and wireless internet, good breakfast, size of rooms, terrace with wonderful vibe, views and cuisine!
The fact that the bathroom dont have curtines, or glass protetion. You cant take a shower, because you will drop water to the floor.
Helpful Staff. Fantastic location. Beautifully furnished rooms. Varied and enjoyable breakfast.
The only slight downside was the famous Astrological Clock chiming every hour outside the bedroom window, but if you want such a fabulous location it is a small price to pay.
the best location in the center of old town
was not 5* as announced: good 3* hotel
We stayed in the Junior Suite which had a balcony onto the Main Square. The views were amazing at all times of the day. Loved the hotel and the staff. Didn't get to try the food as there is so much choice in Prague, but I hear it is top class.
The architure of the building. The friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food.
We stayed in a Jr. Suite and could here everything from the room above.
The Hotel is is the perfect location, right on the Old Town Square. The Hotel itself is filled with wonderful old world charm and the staff are excellent. The outdoor restaurant on the square and the rooftop restaurant are both excellent and the food was great. A real home away from home.
The hotel was having issues when we were there with a new discotheque which moved in behind the hotel playing load music till 5 am, the staff was wonderful about it but it is an issue the hotel will need to resolve as it was impossible to sleep one evening with all the noise.
Just a magnificent experience. Like sleeping in a museum surrounded by artwork and history. Fine, courteous staff and superp service.
The ambiance and attention to detail is amazing, great tavern and restaurant, breakfast is excellent. Service and staff was excellent also. Room has old world charm, fine furnishing, luxury feel. Rooftop terrace a big bonus, great view.
Showers have no curtain. Water on floor after showered. Kind of annoying. That's it, everything else first class.
We loved our junior suite bedroom/sitting room. The position of the hotel on the Square. The convenience to shops and historical sites. The wonderful view from the roof garden. Good food. Polite staff.
The place was perfect and the breakfast was excelant.
The location is amazing and the hotel itself is beautiful and welcoming. Most of the staff was very friendly. The view from the restaurant on top of the building is breathtaking. The food itself is also very tasty (although the amounts are ridiculously small and the prices very exaggerated). Our bed was very large and comfortable.
It was a bit too hot everywhere, but that seems to be a characteristic of every shop, restaurant and hotel in Prague and not only of this hotel. The room was clean when we came in but, apart from the bathroom, the floor was never hoovered again and was pretty dirty after a couple of days. We were also unfortunate enough to be sleeping in a room next to which was a party going on (in the next building) until 5 in the morning one night. It could have been a one-off and it was not the hotel's fault. However, we recommend taking ear-plugs with you if your sleep is light, also because the running noises of the hotel and of the restaurant downstairs start pretty early (around 7) and the main square of a city is always a busy place (but so handy!)
perfect location, style, furniture, romantic bar on the roof with amazing view, courmet food
